Entry Doors
When choosing the perfect custom front door, there are a few things to consider. There are different material and color options as well as artistic and architectural elements like arches, panels, windows, sidelights, hardware, and other decorative elements. At Sunbeam Window & Door Company, we work with HMI Doors to ensure you have every option you could dream of.
Steel Doors
All steel custom doors are 20 gauge for security and feature edges with a vinyl thermal break around the perimeter to prevent heat transfer. Our steel doors also have injected polyurethane foam insulation that fills every nook inside the door. You can choose from a smooth finish or a textured steel that imitates the look of wood grain.
Fiberglass Doors
These custom doors imitate the look and feel of wood but will never warp or rot. Each has a composite top and bottom rail to block moisture, and you can choose from Aspen or Regency wood grain. Fiberglass doors require very little maintenance and upkeep and are insulated against the heat and cold with a polyurethane foam core.
Other Custom Doors
- Sliding Doors: These doors feature fiberglass construction and can be fit for any opening width. Choose window designs for your patio doors and even add built-in blinds for light control. You can also select your hardware, add pet doors, and put in screens.
- French Doors: Choose from several opening configurations and handle options. You can even have opening French sidelights or quicksteps.
- Fire Rated: We offer smooth or textured steel doors that are rated as fire doors. These doors feature small reinforced windows that are also fire-rated.
- Bullet Resistant: These level 3 bullet resistant doors can be steel or fiberglass. The custom doors feature bullet-resistant panels and can still be painted or stained any color. They are some of the most secure residential doors on the market.
- Aluminum Storm Doors: These custom doors are designed to hang in front of your entry door and provide extra protection. They are perfect if you have an existing wood door that you want to keep. The aluminum storm doors are solid and lightweight. They feature tempered safety glass and several screen options.
- Security Doors: These custom doors are similar to storm doors and feature 16 gauge welded steel designs for security. The Forged Series from HMI Doors are the highest quality security doors available and feature solid forged steel design elements and rails. You can choose from dozens of different design patterns, 25 different powdercoat color finishes, and even add a mail slot.
